1795 with Original eight day weight driven brass
movement fronted by a white painted enameled
dial decorated with geometric spandrels and a
lovely urn and floral motif in the central arch. The

Birmingham” on the back and is typical of dials
of the period painted in Boston. The finely
proportioned cherry case is surmounted by a
graceful swan’s neck pediment as well as
three brass finials on reeded plinths. The waist
section is centered by a beautifully arched door

the waist a very appealing visual presentation
supported by a finely shaped bracket footed
